In response to our customers' requests, we have developed this style of track lighting that offers an illuminated design on both sides and use a 50W or 75W (TR11) flood style bulb in a compact head design. These heads use a wide variety of accessories to fit any location and come in an amazing variety of hand painted finishes and liners.

Track Head Specifications: TR10 - 8" Long by 4.5" Wide by 10.5" Tall when completely extended.
TR11 - 10.5" Long by 5.5" Wide and 13.5" Tall when completely extended.
TR6 - 4.25" Long by 3.25" Wide and 7.5" Tall when completely extended.
Individually cut from sturdy 22 gauge steel and hand finished in your choice of colors shown below. 

Bulbs:  To meet new government lighting efficiency standards, we are transitioning to the more efficient halogen bulbs that meet the new guidelines. The heads (except for color C169) use common and easy to find GU10 base 50W ( 75W for TR11)  Halogen bulbs which are included with the track heads. The bulbs are dimmable, last longer than traditional spot bulbs and are 15% more efficient and create a more natural light than regular bulbs.  C169 color heads use a 50W ( 75W for TR11) regular screw type bulb of which halogen bulbs will work fine also.  There are multiple other options for these GU10 base bulbs such as florescent and LED bulbs, though their maximum light output is limited to about 65% of the halogen bulbs.

note:  Halogen bulbs do not put out more heat than regular bulbs, the heat is just concentrated in a smaller area as the bulbs are usually half the size.  The total heat they produce is less than a regular bulb since they are more efficient and use the same amount of power. They are perfectly safe to use, especially in a protected fixture such as these track heads.

Metal Colors: Choose from the hand painted finishes shown below. Color C169 is exclusive to the TR10 line and is a mix of light and dark pine colors with white accent to blend with natural wood colors. All accessories are available painted to match.

Here are typical mounting systems showing how the different track power feeds work

Floating feeds are the most popular. The power comes from an electrical box in the ceiling and can be attached anywhere along the length of the track.

Log Feeds are similar to floating feeds, but used where there is just a wire and no outlet box. Normally found in log home style construction.

Regular end feeds are used when the track is connected to the end of the track over an electrical box in the ceiling.

Wire end feeds are used where regular wire feed the track off one of the ends.

Monopoint - This is a single head assembly that attaches to a round base that covers the electrical box

Color Matched Track: The track comes standard in 2, 4, 6 and 8 foot lengths and is easily cut to any length you want. It is hand finished to match any of the track heads. The track attaches to the ceiling with wall anchors or toggle bolts (included) and can be spliced together in different configurations using the connectors, elbows and other parts shown on this page. The maximum capacity is 12 heads per piece of track / feed.   Note: Multiple pieces of track connected together and supplied power by one power feed are "one track" and limited to a total of twelve track heads.

Track Head Extension Rods: These rods snap into the track head and allow it to be hung off the track for exceptionally tall ceilings or where additional clearance around beams is needed.
